Default my first off.

well i was told it was a matter of when and not if, but it happened last night.
going along a dual carriageway that i know well attemted to slow down for a roundabout and just could not stop it. the back end comes out to right, tried to counter it but only made it slide the other way. luckily no serious damage (to me or the sv). bruised hands, shoulder etc, helmet certainly did its job.
the sv needs new right indicators, brake pedal and peg and some tlc.

the thing that bugs me is that i cant think of what went wrong, the road was damp but i was braking in a straight line and managed to loose it, i didnt see the roundabout late or anything like that, very strange, however moments after i come off, a car slides down the same section of road. surely oil, diesel or something. dont want to use that as an excuse but i really cant think of anything else.

"Two types of bikers: Those that have come off, and those that will come off."

Leaving the latter group is part of the initiation! :P

Glad it was only minor.

Sorry to hear about this fella. With the onset of autumn and plenty of dampness in the air and on road surfaces that, and any kind of residue on the road can cause many a problem.

Best plan nice and easy does it....every time. (yeah just like the song!!)
