As per the title have had an online quote from eBike and it's quite a bit cheaper than the bike insurer site.
Has anyone any experience of using them, how have you found them particularly if you've been unfortunate enough to have to claim? Thanks Rob |

I've not used them, but....I'm about to take out my first policy and eBike came out top at £383, until I called expressinsurance and they beat it down to 285 and reduced the excess to 250.
What put me off eBike was the confused.com site didnt submit to them the fact that I had an Almax chain, and when I went to the eBike site and changed the security bit, it didn't affect the quote, despite the fact that eBike claim to give better deals to people who have Almax stuff. When I called them up to see what was going on the answer machine put me off, saying that everything quotewise was done on t'internet. I hate companies that don't have real people to help you out. Just my 2penneth, maybe I'm being picky. |

I have been with them for about 18 months now, insuring my Fireblade.
I fell off my bike in April this year causing over 4k worth of damage. They were a bit slow in getting the bike picked up from the recovery agents as there was a bit of a issue over who was going to carry out the repair. In the end the bike was repaired by the Honda dealer I bought the bike from and it's back as good as new. Fortunately I took longer to mend than the bike so the delay did'nt bother me too much. My first year withthe bike was about £550 and on renewal was going to be about £330, after the accident it only went back up to £550 so all in all eBike have been fine. |

I was with eBike. It was very cheap, TPFT only. I had a fault accident, told them, never heard anything more about it. So, er, not much help I suppose! Seemed fine!

Ebike here too. Very good value for me. I got taken out by a pedestrian on a light controlled crossing and my premium went down...which was nice.

I've been with them for the last 3 years as they always gave me the best rate. But fortunately I've never had to make a claim, so can't comment on that bit. I know that Spiderman's with them too, so he may have an opinion.
However, I'm now coming up for renewal and they're giving me one of the most expensive quotes! Also, I e-mailed them 2 days ago about a problem that I'm having accessing my details on their website, and they've still not replied. For some reason, they're quoting me a policy that's £150 more than the one I bought from them last year. AA are looking like the cheapest option for me at the moment. |

I added a third bike some time ago and needed the cover note like yesterday in order to pick it up, I managed to get a real phone number to call them, and it was always the same guy every time I called, which kinda made me think it was a one man in his bedroom outfit.
They have always been the best (IME) if you have more than one bike. |

I am with them and have been for about 2.5 years.
I would recommend then they were the cheapest for me as new rider with no no-claims fully comp on my first policy was £440 , that has gone down the last two years to about £200 fully comp. I have addded my old man on it at no extra cost and breakdown cover is included. I have used it once and they were very quick at getting me recovered. I am using their monthly pay as you go policy, where if i wish i can pause it over winter when not riding. this builds a no claims every 10 months, so even though i have been with them for 2.5 years i have 3yrs no claims. and they took into account my car no claims as well. i would reccomend them. |

I have used them for a bit over a year, no issues at all. I like the fact that you can make changes online and avoid the usual £25 fee. I've not had to make a claim. Cheapest I could find when I first used them, and their renewal quote beat anything else I could find.
