OK bit of a delayed start because of the wind. Buy was good to get out this afternoon.
So I can smile for a bit if the Strike doesn't lead to the op being cancelled. Or hopefully get out next week with better weather |

Oldest boy has got his first "proper" job while he studies at college - he's suddenly not only taller than his old man, he seems grown up too :)

After a day of training in the crazy rain and winds of Storm Imogen yesterday, today's sunshine was very welcome. As was this !!! ...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I had an invite to a private view at the Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace this morning. Breakfast included. It featured Dutch artists of the 17th century and the comic art of Thomas Rowlandson.
My manager sadly had to miss it even though he'd organised it because he was moving house. To make up for that I bought him a rather splendid Buckingham Palace tea towel as a house warming gift. But what I most enjoyed today was having the services of a butler to serve me my breakfast and coffee. |
