Re: Suzy bares all!!
indeed, good job Chris, if not brought back from the dead, from serious wounds at the very least ;)
Nice shiney bits Lou, made my elbow ache just looking at those forks, I hope they are coated or it's a polish each week :D Still as I've said before it's always nice to know the oily bits are working right underneath you. Well done. Cheers Mark |
Re: Suzy bares all!!
Today I have been between both bikes of mine....scratching my head putting the wiring loom in the right places up the front end. We didn't take any photos first and Chris has a nakid so put them in as best he could.....so I managed to fathom it all out by myself. Unearthed a couple of teething probs
The brake line from the reservoir to the T piece is now rubbing slightly on the loom, I'm not confident to move it myself, but I'm sure Chris will take a look. The speedo cable seemed a little long, and, after having a butchers it should have gone over the bottom yoke down to the wheel, dunno how to do that either. oooooops we forgot to put a clamp on the downpipe under the bellypan and we kinda forgot to put the main bolt on the pipe to the frame, its already hung on the hanger and it ain't moving but I imagine it'll be around his garage somewhere. Oh and Chris I found the rubber gromits for the screen where you told me they'd be......oooooooooppss sorry:roll: anyhhoooo heres some much better photos for you all http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/newsuze7.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/newsuze8.jpg spot the missing zorst bolt http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b.../newsuze10.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/newsuze6.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/newsuze5.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/newsuze4.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/newsuze3.jpg no rust on that subframe http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...0/newsuze2.jpg the bracket for the pan looks a little odd, its different to Pete and Lissas roca, I think the pan goes right up to the cover on theres. Its also a better look at that water pump, soooo shiny http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...50/newsuze.jpg oh and she hasn't had a wash yet, them electrics took all my brain power!!! |

Re: Suzy bares all!!
I haven't put my Corbin seat on yet, as I thought I'd go out and get used to the new set up, last night we rode home from Chris's in the pouring rain, in the dark and the tyres weren't warm, and I felt very nervous. It was like riding a new one all over again. So as soon as I'm satisfied with how it is, my new seat will be going on.........cause its a wee bit odd, and slippy!!! I had a little go on the black one with it last week....hehehe

Re: Suzy bares all!!
That looks really sweet for a yellow curvy. Now it's all shiny you can flog it for decent money and upgrade to a black pointy S

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_29_135.gif Its wash day today, I'm just in the middle of hiding a accidental ding in the tank, Just got to laquer it. And thanks to a conversation with Rictus I may have a cure for a rust problem on it. Just as a tip guys.....look on the rim of the tank where the two bolt holes are to mount it on the frame. It pools water there and nicely starts rusting under the paint......you don't really notice it until you go over stuff with a fine toothcomb |
Re: Suzy bares all!!
