No

7. If answered no to question 5, why?
Cause I would want custom earphones which will always have a wire. If you have a wire then you may as well connect it to your MP3 instead of the wireless receiver.

8. What are your main irritations of riding motorcycles (excluding external factors e.g. Cagers that almost knock you off…)
Length of time to get your kit on.
The fact that you cant reasonably go shopping or visit somewhere without changing first and if you do change then where do you put your kit.
Lack of storage without panniers or top box.

5. Do you listen to music while riding your motorcycle? - ocassionally, but I find it sounds crap at speeds over about 60mph

6. If answered yes to question 5, would you be interested in purchasing wireless equipment which allows you to listen to music while riding?
Yes, but you'd need some pretty good noise cancelling software in there to get rid of the noise, which seems to ruin the mid range freqencies. In ear speakers would be best for blocking out noise but still not needing very loud volume. I'd prefer to be board than deaf when i arrive somewhere!

8. What are your main irritations of riding motorcycles (excluding external factors e.g. Cagers that almost knock you off…)
  • NOT BEING ABLE TO LISTEN TO MY TUNES -so if you can come up with a good product then fair play.

1. Are you
  • A – Male
2. Which age category do fall into
  • B – 24-29 ( 28 )
3a. How much do you typically spend on helmets (ฃ)
  • C – 200-300 Bought a 350 helmet for 250
3b. Leathers (ฃ)
  • D – 400+ - Last leather suit was an 800 suit in the sale for 400 :)
3c. Boots and gloves (ฃ)
  • C – 200+ Last boots - 190, gloves were 110 (all still going strong)
4a. After how long do you typically replace your helmet (years)
  • A – 1-2 - I find that the insides breakdown so after 2 years of regular use, the fit isn't anywhere near as good as a new helmet
4b. Leathers (years)
  • B – 2-3 - Obviously a big off might change this, but in the past 2 years, I have lost weight so I bought new stuff to keep a good fit, rather than it wearing out necessarily
4c. Boots and gloves (years)
  • A – 1-2 - Like helmets - inside of boots break down and get loose, gloves wore through in the finger tips after 1-2years!
5. Do you listen to music while riding your motorcycle?

Nope

7. If answered no to question 5, why?

Most of my riding is on the track these days and I need to concentrate! Plus earphones are uncomfortable when wearing a good fitting helmet

8. What are your main irritations of riding motorcycles (excluding external factors e.g. Cagers that almost knock you off…)

Nothing really. If things were less expensive, then that would be nice. However I know the costs involved and are prepared to accept them, so not really an irritation

You can get noise cancelling headphones, which should block out the wind noise/blast....not sure how effective they would be on a bike, don't plan to find out either. But would be useful for you I guess, when riding, seen then in shops ect I would spend at least ฃ50 on them, you can't get good quaility sound gear that is cheap. But I haven't used then, and when I used to record sound for TV programs, I would use HD25 as my first choice, but they won't fit under a lid!
