Good crash bungs provide a lot of protection, I suppose it just depends how often you intend to crash :mrgreen: The SV's got a narrow engine so it tends not to touch down much in crashes.

There's other options, mind... Frinstance, there's assorted case protection options, like the Factory Pro clutch casing with the humungous crash bung as sold by JHS (or I think, cheaper straight from Factory Pro), or the kevlar engine armour Bike Johnny sell.
