Thanks everyone. Never knew I wanted to be a dad. In fact the opposite. Now I cannot wait for her to get home with us.

Ah yes ... elbow deep in the strangest looking sh*t you ever did see ... sleepless nights ... learning to understand a creature that can't speak (if you have a pet you have a head-start!) ... the obstacle course that is finding strange objects called "toys" scattered randomly around the house and in particular on the stairs (danger!) ... wishing they could talk, and then when they start, sometimes wishing they wouldn't have started in the first place ... being able to put them down and coming back to find them in the same place, which suddenly changes when they start walking and then you DAREN'T leave them alone for a second! LMAO

Wouldn't change it for the world :D best thing that ever happened to me, my kids :D

Congratulations, take it from one that has been there, the first 10 years are the easiest. Then it is hell for the next 10.
