ha ha ha..... years ago when I was more active and my ex hubbie dragged me into all sorts of strange hobbies I raced remote control cars and also the petrol driven ones. The petrol ones were more dangerous cos they could actually reach speeds of about 50 to 60mph and quite often someone elses radio frequency would interfere with your own and they`d go careering off. There were circuits actually set up for racing them, was a really good one in Wrexham I remember and to make you sick I was actually North West female champion for 2 years running but i`m not telling you what years, would give my age away lol I still have the trophies in the attic!

I'm impetuous, not STUPID ;)

I have always wanted an IC car ... I've had battery ones. I was really into IC areoplanes at one point ... I have an IC boat too ... I have just never had an IC car ..... now I do ... another boyhood dream realised!! :smt041

I know what I am going to be doing at some point tomorrow!! :D

Now I just need to think of the best place to use it!! (somewhere where it won't annoy anyone (noise) and will be good terrain). :smt017

RADIO Controlled {grumble grumble} :D

You need to be getting yourself one of these ... bearing in mind we live at the other ends of the country, we can set up a webcam and play RC cars together!! :D

I actually have a trophy or two from when I used to race (battery) RC cars as a kid too 8) ...KID not Adult :laughat: Claire ... actually thinking about it I was ~17 at the time as I used to drive there in my car :oops: ... I never did get laid much as a young man!!! :mrgreen:

Here I did buy something for a my computer ... I bought a 2gb memory stick ... I mean I am not 100% sure why ... guess I felt a bit guilty for not buying the computer!! :D

yep sorry, i stand corrected, radio controlled!!!!

I was NW Female champion at the battery driven ones as well, tho god knows how cos i was always blowing the battery packs up!!! The only reason I was female champion was cos there was only about 10 women who raced them pmsl

I never fancied the gliders or helicopters cos it looked so difficult.. and forget the webcam, i`ll race it properly or not at all and i`ll probably beat you :D
