Any polishing compound for acrylic should do the trick. There might be something you could use in here: http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/for...=4951&posts=17

Cheers for the advice.

I have tried several methods now with no success and I am pretty concerned that I could easily make things worse, so unfortunately they may have to stay as they are.
