<DERAIL> Jeez, Lozzo. Is that a world record attempt at how many bikes you can fit in a car? ;-) <DERAIL END>

They're only TS50Xs, but I do think I could have got another one in - not bad for a Nissan Micra.

27 in May. I'd just turned 19 when she was born. She's got a Gixer 600 K6, '04 R6 trackbike, '95 RM125 and a '81 RD125 twin - collecting bikes is a hereditary thing. Her long standing bloke has a Gixer 750 K5 Anniversary and a '04 CBR600RR trackbike.

I have two more girls, aged 18 and 16 who aren't into bikes, and a 14 yr old son who is - all off limits and protected by extreme violence :D

Collecting kids is almost as bad a habit as collecting bikes, but at least you can flog the bikes when they p1ss you off

Did you just sit the battery on top of the shock resevoir? I made a new battery box because it looked like a right bodge without it, not to mention the risk of the resevoir fretting away at the battery and it peeing acid down the frame in future. With the battery box in the battery sits under pressure from the seat and you have to push down hard on it in order to put the seat screws in, not good - so I cut a rectangle from under the seat to give the battery room and a foam top.

:( You're right, it's wearing away the battery. I don't think it's the seat pressing down that's the problem, just the weight of the battery.
Fancy making another battery box? :D

I can do, you'd want the option of fitting a shorter battery too and not cutting a section from the seat base. All I'd need is the height of the front edge of the battery box before you reach the shock resevoir, then I can fold one up and try it in my own bike to make sure it fits OK.
