For a cheap steal when i got them, they were rather worth it :)

Tim they are the old ones, not the new 2 compound mate.

Busters, as per Maultin's earlier post.

Go to the special offer page, and they're £119.99

Then put in the code (at the checkout): VARADERO10

£113 delivered.

LOL, I reckon the Varadero forum guys are going to be scratching thier heads, not to mention Busters, wondering why Varadero owners want Pilot Sports.

I got that discount code from a mate who is a member of that forum.

Plowsie, how do you tell whether they are 2 compound or not?
I thought the tyres i got were 2 compound, but just presumed they were

On the tyre wall it will have 2CT,I have been using the 2CT for over a year and I have just changed the rear with 8000 on it,not because it was worn out but it had taken a fair bit of motorway miles and squared off. The tyre changed still had 2-3000 miles left in it before the wear blocks. I wasn't as lucky on price 180/55 x17 £125 fitted, balanced and new valve stem and core, plus disposal of the old casing. You will probably find you will get twice the mileage out of the front as compared to the rear so at these prices get another rear now and stay running on a matched set for the next 12,000miles

Hi guys,

Just checking the offer with busters for the Pilot Sports - I entered the code in the website, and lo and behold I got the discount.

However, got the tyres this morning, and the delivery note showed no discount. I rang Busters to check, and they have said that all agreements with motorcycle clubs are for bike specific parts only. i.e. not generic parts (such as tyres) and therefore no discount.

I spoke to the manager who assured me that this was the case, and no discount could be offered.

Did you guys check your bank statements, and make sure that the discounted price was honoured? - The e-mail receipt which I have shows the disount, but they are wanting to charge me more...
