Went to Paris the other week (not on bike), it looks a hectic place to be a biker in. Makes London look a piece of pish.

As said before North coast is a bad idea. Mine and Baphs relatively helpful advice for France - Out the tunnel and turn right and go along that coas road. (its on bestbikingroads.com :D)
