Must have been a big knock to take it off the centre stand!

At least it was only the Viffer. Nice colour though!!

Got a call back from him - aparently it WAS on its side, one of the guys at her work spotted it and picked it up again.

Explains why I left it on the centre-stand and found it on the side stand.

Also now know it happened befor ebaout 3:30.

Is there any CCTV then? If there is, check it yourself if you can and then let the police know ;)

Still dont know about CCTV.

There is little or no damage to the right side of the bike - I dont know how it got on the ground - I assume it was lowered, then the person couldnt pick it up.

I think what has happened is that it has been knocked forwards, dropping it off the stand, then fallen to the right onto another bike.

Bloody nora. Touch wood it wasn't the new steed. Must've still been a whack. Maybe one of those oil tanker sized white vans.

I had my works van hit once, third time, same damage, first two times no witnesses. Third time a witness left a note with the details of the moron who didn't stop. I reported it to the old bill and they followed it up. They called me to say the driver didn't recall it so they couldn't take it any further. I told them I might go out and rob someone, but if I was asked I'd say I couldn't remember doing it. Funnily enough they then took it further. Only as far as the insurance company though.

Nightmare! Get this bad luck stuff out of the way before you get the Zed!

Hope the CCTV can help some - having seen the way people park in the big smoke this sort of thing must be common I guess...

Hey the best bet would to contact the local council as they have CCTV. Also all the business around the square see if any of their cameras point that way, thats what I would do. Do you have any ideas of time frame involved as well? It will looking through footage easier.

I would also report it, just go in and report it then something has to be done about it!

Hope they find the sucm bag, and do the nesscary.
