I can assure you that the crash bungs and sliders are only intended for cosmetic purposes :)

More pics of more mods.

It was supposed to come with a screen and a Scottoiler fitted, but Metropolis only got them yesterday.

Had the option of getting them to fit them on the 25th, when the bike is in for 1st service, but wanted them on before that.

So, the screen.

Not the least scary thing to do, primarily due to the instructions in the kit.

These go along the lines of

1) Stick templates onto the top of the instrument pod surround.

2) Using a 9.5mm drill, drill 4 holes in your nice new shiny motorcycle.

So I did, then after putting in the rubber top hats, spacers and allen bolts (just like a normal screen fitting kit for a faired bike) my screen was on.

After that was on with the aid of Rictus's tools, it was off to SELKENT, where the placement of the Scottoiler came up (ok so I asked Jambo and Sid Squid for advice).

In the end I ignored Sid's advice (tho I am still taking the Dont Crash advice as good, solid value) and found a place under the rear seat - there is little or no space under the seats on the Z750 ABS due to the ABD gubbings

So here it is

So not a bad days work.

In the post today arrived.

1) R&G Tail Tidy :)

2) Stebel Nautilus Compact Horn

3) New helmet cam

Think I will do the Tail Tidy tonight :), the horn (and the splicing of the electrics) still scares me :)

Good work!

Post up information about where you fit the Stebel horn, I'm having a devil of a job finding somewhere on the viffer to fit some loud horns.
