+1 I got a pair after you recommended them to me for MTB'ing and they're probably the best bit of kit I've bought so far. I've had my foot down in puddles, streams, you name it, and my feet have stayed bone dry :D

Problem I've found for riding reasonable distance when it's pi$$ing down is that if you use plastic bags or owt to keep your feet dry. The sweat gathers inside and you get cold feet anyway.

Are sealskinz breathable enough to prevent this?

My feet sweated like a ******* with them on. Horrible.

I've found them breathable enough- I was wearing them through the winter with merino liners too so my feet were toasty- but I guess it depends what your shoe is.

Ive got both sealskinz and porelle dry socks.
Out of the 2 I prefer the drysocks as you can wear them on their own as a normal sock, they last longer and work much better too :)

Been wearing mine with my cycling shoes. Which are summer ones so plenty of vents. My feet seemed to sweat like anything and it was like putting your foot into a warm bath albeit with a soggy wet sock on.

I've given up with them now, and bought some overshoes job jobbed.

I've just been wearing mine with the trainers (flat skate shoes) I ride in. I have the mid-light socks and they must be pretty breathable as my feet have never got too hot/sweaty. :smt102
