Re: Seal Skin Socks
Problem I've found for riding reasonable distance when it's pi$$ing down is that if you use plastic bags or owt to keep your feet dry. The sweat gathers inside and you get cold feet anyway.
Are sealskinz breathable enough to prevent this? |
Re: Seal Skin Socks
My feet sweated like a ******* with them on. Horrible.

Re: Seal Skin Socks
I've found them breathable enough- I was wearing them through the winter with merino liners too so my feet were toasty- but I guess it depends what your shoe is.

Ive got both sealskinz and porelle dry socks. Out of the 2 I prefer the drysocks as you can wear them on their own as a normal sock, they last longer and work much better too :) |

I've given up with them now, and bought some overshoes job jobbed. |
Re: Seal Skin Socks
I've just been wearing mine with the trainers (flat skate shoes) I ride in. I have the mid-light socks and they must be pretty breathable as my feet have never got too hot/sweaty. :smt102
