I wear glasses and its a real pain.

I use a pinlock although I'm really going off it.

I feel it blocks vision slightly, which when your wearing glasses as well is really annoying.

The pinlock also becomes dirty/scratched quite quickly as its soft, this is really noticable when you take it off to clean it, the difference is colour and vision with it off is significant.

I had the same problem with the pinlock. The solution is to adjust the eccentric pins to ensure a correct fit. It's a bit tricky to do, but mine's OK now.

Just pinched this from a RiDE mag regarding the washing-up liquid technique:
"A spot is all that is required, applied with the fingers, until the fingers start to grab at the visor. At that point polish with a soft cloth. Result? Clear vision for at least five days."

S'pose it costs nothing to give it a go.

I find aftermarket dark visors work a treat as they are not 100% perfect fit so let a small amount of ait in.

I compliment mine with a fog city, and a foggy mask. it took a while to fit the foggy mask correctly so it worked but now i am 100% fog free.

Another vote for pinlock here.

I tried the foggy mask but didn't get on with it, worth a try though.

I use a visor spray- Holts visor spray- does anti fog and rain repellant at once (sprayed on both sides of visor, obviously...!).

This works well if you apply the spray in a different way to the can, which says spray on and wipe off excess & allow to dry. I spray on a generous amount, allow it to dry for a few mins and then polish with a cloth- this does a sterling job, even without a breath guard. I do 2 applications on particularly cold days and also use the breath guard (is an HJC FG-14 and has a removable guard), though I daresay a pinlock system is far better.

The spray goes on normally every 1-2 days, so is a lot of effort, but a can (about 5ish) lasts for a few months normally- more in summer, less in winter.

I have worn glasses under the lid and used above spray on them- but it's not so good with this. I wear contact lenses most of the time, so this is not a worry for me.

Have you considered contact lenses? Makes life a lot easier re bike lids (and other stuff). I personally don't like the idea of extra lenses/bits of metal and plastic knocking about in the lid if something bad happens.

Slight derail- has anyone ever tried PTFE spray (like Muc-Off bike protector) on the outside of the visor? I may try this with a spare old visor, when I order new ones soon- it does a cracking job of keeping rain and muck off (muc-off?!) the bike, but not sure how it'll obscure visibility. I've tried it on mirrors, but it looks like it needs to dry and a fair bit of polishing to keep the view clean.

I got a breath gaurd. The only time my visor steams up is when i put on too many layers and get a bit hot and perspire at the lights

Open face helmet + balaclava in winter... oh and only breathe at over 50mph, helps keep speeds up!
