I had a similar problem, but I've got a naked sv not the sports. I changed the levers to adjustable ones, which made a huge difference personally, but it depends if it's the position you are in that hurts, or the clutch.

I find the best way to strengthen the forearm and wrist is to use a stress ball or a tennis ball and keep squeezing. 20 pumps 4 times per day and you will notice a heck of a difference by the end of the week.

Re: Wrist pains when riding.

It is basically a repetitive strain. Adjusting riding position as others have suggested will be key to a resolution but of course exercising to strengthen the wrist will help. If you constantly grip the tank with your legs to relieve your wrists then you will probably get aches in your legs - so its important to vary your riding posiion so you move your arms, wrists legs etc otherwise constant tension in any part whatever the best riding position could give rise to similar probelms.

Main thing is to relax as much as possible. When I was doing high car mileage I found my bum goingnumb! I then heard a tip that suggested flexing the old glutes - and it works. Same applies to to your situation (no that doesn't mean that moving your *rse will relieve your wrists!!)

I find my fingers going numb due to vibration  (awaits lewd comments...#-o)and the fact that I grip the bars too tightly. I have to remember to relax and alter position for just the same reasons. Ooerr missus :smt110
