could you not fit a flashbang or similar wired to the door, say once it's open more than 20 degrees and if a small switch inside the door isn't flicked it sets off something that is loud enough to wake you up and damage the little gits' ears, but not damage the shed contents?

When my younger bro wired the grills of his shed to the mains. The local plod was the guy to make a complaint. Now the shed was on private land at least 300 yard from the road. How the hell did the plod know it was wired, unless. Of course he was illegally attempting to break in

Hmm, i like the bolts idea. I'll do that straight away. Just got a new padlock for the shed. As there isnt much in ther now, only Half an SV engine, A reebok step!, the garden umbrella and spiders, it will do for now. I thought about an alarm but in all honesty i think they are point less. I'll do some physical security. My neighbout last night screwed his door shut on his shed with 6" screws!!

I have a selection of hammers. (in the words of Squid) Very Coarse, Coarse, Medium, Fine. I liked my Cordless screwdriver, as i said the battery was gone and it slipped sometimes on the clutch, but it was years old and still worked. It was a Bosch.

My security is that we live in a terraced house, but bad luck Viney. I take it is all covered by your contents insurance?

a car alarm wired up to a car battery is useful on a shed, remote control and working off a pin switch on the door, simple but effective.

sorry to hear it!
they're scum, but even if caught will probably just get a slapped wrist.

Just allow yourself the daydream of them breaking in one time, when you're still in the shed with a bat in your hand!!!
