Re: anyone regularly order pizza from Dominos?

My only experience of Dominoes was that I rang them appx 7pm to place an order, someone picked up the phone and put it straight down. Strange I thought. Rang again immediately, phone rang for 30 seconds, girl answered and before I could place my order, she asked if I could ring back later because they were busy, then put the phone down.

To sumerise. Never tried one never will. :shaking:

1. why you used them in the first place

They delivered a menu that we kept

2. why you keep using them

I like the taste and the variety, they givce you a fresh up to date menu every time you use them.

3. what method you use to order and what you like about it

I ring up, I cant be fussed the power up internet just for this, I collect it,s only 10 min walk away, and I pass the off license on the way.

4. any views on consistency (esp if you use more than one branch)

Allways the same standard never had any problems, but always the same branch.

Never use them. The premises look unattractive to me and don't have visual appeal, although they're spotlessly clean they're in a building which looks a bit shabby. Plus they are very expensive.

They have a sign in the window, 'Drivers Required' - only it's been there ever since they opened about 18 months ago.

Glad to say, I have never, ever used a Pizza delivery service, besides which there isn't one round here. I did once try to use the delivery from my local Indian. It arrived 2 hours after ordering and I had gone to bed so refused to accept it.

Lesson learned, send daughter to bring home supper. At least that way you get what you want whilst it is hot.

A belated thanks for your responses. I am now finishing up an essay on....pizza.

I did contemplate placing an online order myself as part of the research, but then:

1. They'd know where I live
2. I'd get loads of email from them
3. I'd have an unused pizza

I'll let you know the outcome in a week or so.

My Answers
1, Ease of locality. Ten minutes walk from home or next to pub for way home. Mutley Branch, Plymouth when I lived there.

2, They usually tasted great, even when sober.

3, Occasionally phone for delivery when at home with a movie, usually just walk in and order.

4, Staff turn over made consistency problematic towards the end of my use of them. Also staff tended to be poorly turned out, some were even dirty and some had poor customer relations skills which stopped us using them in the end and Swapping to another brand.

Hope this is of use, good luck with the essay.
