147 topped right out , didn`t feel like it as I did the same speed on a GSX1400 last week and it felt way faster .

I started a debate about this and it is proven that curves are quicker look at the hyabusa, kawasaki's 1400 machine cant remember the name and the buggatti veyron - 1000hp car - all curves for less drag etc.

so curves are more aerodynamic thank you lol!!!

on a nice day or with a lil wind behind me i can get 110 on my curvey restricted. any wind in my face i struggle to get passed 90. :p

Ive had an indicated 120, then "I" ran out of steam!!

it was still pulling like mad, but I bottled! (havent been over 85 in 5 years!)

Most I've seen indicated on mine is 135 :( running a 45 tooth rear sprocket, but then I had to ease off for a corner.

When i owned mine i saw 144(indicated)but that was on a downhill stretch of motorway.

120mph then backed off because my head was about to fall off my shoulders (naked bike)!

I got about 128 on the clock just after I serviced her the other month. Could have got a bit more, but the situation was not appropriate.
