I was at le mans this year :-D Right do!

The astons don't sound half as good as the corvettes, which sound like some cataclysmic end of the earth, but a lovely looking car and they definately deserved their win in Gt1.

All the cars did actually look like that after 24 hours too, especially with the rain we had. They look better that way, well used more than showroom shine!

Cool photo's. Went there myself a couple of years ago and got some good photo's but my wife then lent the camera to some numpty who managed to delete the whole lot ,totally gutted.

I'm afraid I rather overindulged in the corporate hospitality and didn't get round to taking any pics after about 11ish that are worth showing. I was nearly sick in the helicopter on the way home as well :oops:

Def go next year though :grin:

Thanks for all the info. If its not to be too much to ask it would be nice in future posts to put some such notes under your pics for us photo buffs. Thanks Sam. Regarding the first HDR, did you compose that out of 3 separate photos?

Yes the first one is composed of 3 different shots :) an i'd be happy to put the EXIF data under the photo's i take in future :)

Thats a great image you took i love the detail picked out in the engine. good work :)

Thanks Sam. Nothing near your greatness but I'm quite happy with the output too. I try not to get the photos to look too much HDR, to look almost normal photos but well exposed. Feel free to visit fotothing and comment on my other pictures Sam. I'd like your honest opinion.
