Re: Poly26 bellypan-damaged
Sorry for the delay folks, but forgot about getting pictures for this.
Anyway, as you can see below, its not a straightforward job. This will require someone who is skilled working with fibre glass to repair and create a lug (or fabricate by other means) so that it attaches to exhaust mount. As itll need a respray as a by product of this, the paint and finish is irrelevant. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r/DSC00469.jpg Front damage http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r/DSC00470.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r/DSC00471.jpg Missing piece which attaches to frame http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r/DSC00472.jpg hairline crack to other mount http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r/DSC00473.jpg |

Re: Poly26 bellypan-damaged
I dont think I can put one on it, its really what people are prepared to offer. Ive had umpteen PMs as its a very popular pan, but in its current state, it needs repairing. If the attaching lug had been present then I would have said it was a fairly straightforward repair Patch up the holes, smooth them off and then strengthen the crack on the other side but it needs some attachment to the exhaust side of the bike. Further pictures (better quality ones) can be taken if required.
