I have a Shark s650. Bought a iradium visor from racevisors.com or .uk (can't remember) and they threw in a visor bag which i keep my clear visor in under my jacket. Its handy too if your on a long run and get covered in flys and cant clean your visor...just swap it over then;)

I know what you mean about the double D ring. I've just basically decided that unless it's quick release I won't buy it because I even struggle with that lol!!! :-P

You'll never see the pros using quick release. To be honest, if I could swap mine for a double D ring, I would as you know it's on tight every time you put your lid on. The quick release buckles slacken off very quickly so need constant adustment.

very true, and they have a nasty habit of not fastening properly when you think you have clipped it in. Had it happen a couple of times and gone down the road thinking ''eh this feels odd'' I prefer DD rings, but if you had an accident they are a little tricky to get off...as you say pro/con.

Think my helmet is the shark s500 and i hate it the visor sometimes flips open when checking blind spots etc on the motorway at 60-70mph very rubbish and i bought the one with the click in/quick release and i dont like that either i would much prefer the double D ring. Been qouted about 45 quid for a tinted visor so as i only paid about 140 for the lid am just gonna invest in a new one.

cheers mick
