Can advise that a 4 magnet rotor in any sender solves this problem. Although it is advisable not to over torque the front axle shaft when tightening it against the sender unit.
Btw a 4 magnet rotor collects 8 bits of magnetised dust (either side of each magnet) and (yes) an 8 magnet rotor collects 16 bits of magnetised dust. |

Hey guys,
I replaced my rotor unit yesterday from a K7 model, mines a K3, after reading this now I know why I was doing 230kmh into work this morning! If I replace the magnet part with the old piece (though there's only 3 sides of it left?)will that sort me out or is it the unit itself that needs to off the same era? Cheers! M |
