Re: YouTube Video of xXBADGERXx`s Street Extreme can swap
You couldn't even cut through a pipe with a hacksaw??!!:p;)
Sounds awesome. Is that all stamped and legal then? (with the baffle in obviously) ? |
Re: YouTube Video of xXBADGERXx`s Street Extreme can swap
Stainless is very hard to saw through with a hacksaw that has a sum total of 9 teeth on it :D , that pipe was very thick indeed , I would say with the liner in it was around 2.5mm thick . It isn`t E marked at all but neither is it stamped "Not for Highway/Road use" or stamped with "For Ractrack use only" . According to Scorpion`s site it is legal with the baffle in but just about HTH .

Na its easy peasy to cut through. I managed no bother:p
Although mine was nice and cool when I was doing it;) |
Re: YouTube Video of xXBADGERXx`s Street Extreme can swap
Actually looking at the vid again the pipe is very thick indeed , my mate`s hacksaw was pretty much the worst one I have ever seen , cheap Aldi blades and it had more chips in it than teeth , maybe they were the teeth :D

Re: YouTube Video of xXBADGERXx`s Street Extreme can swap
That hacksaw looked like it was going nowhere through yer pipes, maybe only as a marker, no wonder you switched :D. Loved the vid shame we couldn't hear the true sound but the seaguls said it all  ;)

Re: YouTube Video of xXBADGERXx`s Street Extreme can swap
My can flew off once on my old SV and I rode to blackpool and back with no can, around 200 miles in total, it sounded like a GP bike lol.

Re: YouTube Video of xXBADGERXx`s Street Extreme can swap
It didn't sound SIGNIFICANTLY different with or without the baffle in (in the vid) 8)
Its a much better not than the stock 8) |
Re: YouTube Video of xXBADGERXx`s Street Extreme can swap
I realised after I filmed it that the camera has some sort of noise cancelling thingy on it that stops the wind from rasping in the Microphone , it basically levels everything out , the sound with the baffle out is a much deeper tone that a small teeny tiny crappy Mic just cannot pick up :(
