According to my instructor the new test is next to impossible for a novice on a 125. All the instructors had a go and 1 failed and all the others only just made it.

Of course that doesn't bother me as I ****ing passed!:smt026

yay, pass! Although the U-Turn area on the new test is 7 metres wide! that's massive!

Well, that would depend on what you call a "novice." By my definition, I was a novice when I did CBT & DAS. That said, I'd spent years off road on all manner of bikes. I was a novice at riding on the road, but also held a car licence.

I know a lad in the office that's just done his CBT, and judging from his riding, I'm astonished he passed the old style one! :shock:

It's the avoiding an obstacle that is impossible on a 125 apparently - it's extremely hard to get up to speed.
