Don't be sorry D - as the seller you're obliged to no-one but yourself - would appreciate a prompt nod from you if Neeja doesn't buy though, as I'm certain we can work out something that suits us both.

Well, I'd be coming to have a look if I knew where I was going to

Hi
I am interested in buying the bike if Neeja doesn't take it...
I currently got the new XT660R, but he is a little lonely :-)
Cheers,
Graham

I feel slightly cheeky registering for an SV650 forum -just- before getting an SV, it's almost like tempting fate...

Ah well! I'm too excited! Had me a Honda Hornet 600F-S (2000) until some swine stole it from outside our house in the middle of the night :( So now I get to grab a bargain SV (which is what I wanted in the first place). I think Neeja will leave a deposit on Wed, if all goes well as he's looking it over for me, but I'll make sure. Other than that I'm sat waiting for the cheque to clear my account. As soon as it does I'm going to the bank, and getting it to you asap :) If I can get it all sorted before the weekend I might be joining the rideout (if I'm not too hungover) if not :( then hopefully next time!

Good luck with the CBR!

Disaster. And now he's registered on the SV forum because he's likely to own an SV.

And with THAT picture, too. God help us.

welcome to the forums matey, I was registerred on here for about 6 months before I got hold of an sv (had a boring honda cbf 600 before that). Just to avoid disapointment, it could be worth ringing the bank and letting them know you're going to withdraw the cash? I had to phone a few days in advance and tell them which branch, what day and roughly what time I'd be withdrawing my cash when I bought my bike (mind you it was just under 3 grand so a big wad).

Hope all goes well with the purchase/sale and you can make it out for the ride :D

Well, the money has cleared my account now, so it's just a case of heading to the bank tomorrow to withdraw it. HSBC are gonna love me £3000 in over 2 days and about £1800 of that vanishes in 2 days. I spoke to them a minute ago, they said I'm okay to withdraw the funds without making an appointment, I just need to take the usual stuff, in (photo ID, etc) would sort it today, but I'm in work 10am 'till 8pm :(

All we need now is to convert Neeja and mine's housemate to buy and SV too, and we'll be laughin'. I'm debating secretly fitting bar raisers to his ER-6f until it becomes an 'easy rider' hehe

THANKS FOR THE WELCOME

I am now looking to sell my XT660R as I went for a ride on my mates SV the other week... I felt the need for speed. This bike is my limit - any other model (or faster), and I will need to buy a coffin as well.

Anyways, I am on the lookout again

+ how does the status change, i.e. the little dot just under my name - it is currently RED (what does that mean?)

hiya mate welcome to the site, not sure about the red dot thing? It's showing "Junior Member" under your username at the moment (in the bit where mine says megaposter = I am a sad)...

Welcome to the org :)
