Simple option would seem to be buying different relay. One that's been recommended! Sounds like it's just a crap design. I'm assuming the indicators act completely normally except for the fast flash?

Just noticed you already said that on your first post!

Tanx all, I will look at some other relays and try that if I last that long, what with cars pulling out at roundabouts 'n' stuff 'n' junk.:compress:
