Usually just jack it onto the back wheel(if safe to do so)a habit i am trying very hard to get out of..........don't like stretchy chains:).

With a bigger back sprocket it doesn't stress the chain as much.

I do rev at them to keep them awake if they look like they are going to do something stupid like step out in front of me. That's usually a good giggle!

I rev at groups of giggly school girls at crossings. They scream and run, makes me laugh it does. I am a bad man.

I also have been known to bounce off the limiter when there are groups of kids crossing a 100 yds from a proper crossing! Again, they scream and jump, again makes me laugh

Yeah if kids wave I will back. I was stuck in traffic once and a lad hung out of a bus window and asked me to do a wheelie but did him a little burnout instead (nice bit of stinky smoke in the bus :p). If they are in a car looking all the time I will nip past when it's safe making lots of noise.
