Re: What will happen to the org?
As I read it, the Gladius is NOT an SV replacement, its to run alongside the SV
I speculate if it is popular in the "1st big bike" sector, then the SV may go up in price bt about £500 and get that amount more spent on the components - so better forks, suspension, brakes etc so that it can fit in the niche between where it is now and the GSX-R. That money spent (basically what everyone does anyway) makes an SV-R a possibility. Suzuki would be mad to ignore the number of people who like the V-Twin engine. |
Re: What will happen to the org?
There are a lot of people on here who no longer have SV's, but stay because their friends are here, and this is a great site to be on. Just because people no longer have SV's also doesn't mean they don't know a fair bit about them, and can offer help and advice to new owners either.

Re: What will happen to the org?
I'm working on the theory that the common DNA of the SV650N and SV650S will end. The Gladius is the naked replacement. I'm hoping that there will be a similar replacement for the S. The S has been a success story for Suzuki and I can only see them dropping it for emission or technical reasons.
If the name changes, so be it. Perhaps we'll just be called 'The Org' in future ;-) http://tallteacher.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/borg.jpg |

Re: What will happen to the org?
It'll still be the .org, but it'll be ""Formerly Members Of The Formerly Greatest Forum In The World" .org
Wecould have have a simple .org forum (dotorg.org?), but with a banner explaining the origin of that forum from this one, if this forum dwindles in its use / attraction of new members. |
