Do they still make these? Just been looking on the Alpinestar website and cant find them. Are these the equivelant of the Jet Star or Storm Rider gloves?

Hmm, not sure if they're discontinued now or not - it's these ones:

Their proper name is Alpinestar Tech Road Gore - that might throw up a few more searches?

Got mine in HG?

Hmm - I saw that site but it looks like it is no longer up and running as navigating to the homepage throws up an error.

I bought some Hein Gericke Xtrafit gloves a couple of weeks agao. Waterproof like a ducks ass and fit really well. They aint that warm, but not too bad.

I bought alpinestars 365, look similar to those above and are also goretex. Might be the replacement for the above. They're pretty thin so you can get a good feel, as mentioned they're not the warmest though. So far I'm very impressed with them.

I'm thinking that these combined with a set of heated grips will be fine for my purposes. I have a thick pair of gloves if I go on longer trips if needed.

I dont think there is such a thing at water proof bike gloves. The wind blast just does them all in :( Some last longer than others though... But not thin ones.
