Mine is a UK spec K7 and has twin spark heads :confused:

I might be wrong but every K7 I have worked on has had a single spark, saying that they are selling the K9 now and have been for a few months.

what advantage does having 2 spark plugs per cylinder give then??

None whatsoever in terms of performance, but it cleans up the emissions a little. The second spark plug is further down the cylinder, and presumably sparks once the piston has gone down past it to ignite any unburnt fuel.

The K7 was the first the twin plug heads from what I can make out
