Wondered why you were going on the A40.

That's a bizarre route mate! Rictus' would be much better from UCL I reckon. The roads may be a bit narrower (more filtering practice) but you're cutting off about a third of the mileage!

You know something, that big hairy thing has a point. You're kinda going zway from it and then heading back to it doing waht you do Matt.

but then again you are our resident Mad Scientist In Training (The Prof is the qualified nutter) so maybe you know something about rotational vortices having a detrimantal effects on the ion flow of string theroy that means your way is just best.

Yea, your right...but I'm not quick at filtering...I went up the A41 towards home the other day, took me an hour and a half to do 12 miles. Normaly only takes me most an hour to get home along the A40 / A406(sometimes alot less) which is 20 miles (almost exactly 20 miles!)

The A41 is great if you know exactly where to be on each section of it to aid your filtering. And currently its got lots of pointless roadworks along it in places so its even worse than usual.
it takes me about 45mins to get from Baker St to Hatfield most days and thats using the A41.

You'll have to come filtering with me one of these days matt and add another feather to your riding hat :D

well you're welcome to come back my way Matt, traffic isn't bad that time of night and if you turn off at green lanes (corner of finsbury park) it's a straight run which isn't a third shorter, but nearer to half the distance :smt102, and I'd estimate 20-30 minutes max,still up to you.

I'm not great at filtering either. My SV mirror now seems to match up with Taxis and the Rat's improvised bar mounted mirror monstrosity matches up with anything your taking action to avoid. :rolleyes:

Well I'll have a look on my map with you tonight or something, see what roads you mean incase I can't keep up. I Think I might know some of the way that you go, maria works near seven sisters.

But I do like my thrash down the A40 and up the A406

What does Shiv's wrath look like? Have you ever tried facing away from it?
