when tiling down to a bath or worktop,a gap of 2 or 3 mm should be left.This should not be grouted ,but left to allow the silicone to penetrate.
After the silicon has been applied to the DRY area,a solution of washing up liquid and water can be sprayed over the silicon.The seal can then be tooled off to a neat finish.I use one of those sprays that are made for spraying plants etc.The silicon will only stick to the dry area and not the sprayed area |
