Excellent film, Hopkins does a great job on it.

The book too is worth a read, it explains basically he didn't do the run in the film on his first go but on one of his subsequent returns when he set the record.

Well worth a watch and a read.

I watched this the day before it was on the haunted picture frame over the festive period. I didnt know anything about the film before i watched it and i must say that i, as well as verna, thought it was a brilliant film. I must admit that i did think he was going to die all the way through the film!

I know that what the film is called, from your comment Im assuming the DVD is same title? I am being thick for not knowing that? Probably - Im pretty thick and dim most of the time ;)

You're right to ask. DVD's aren't always the same title as the films that are on them. Like when they released Cinderella on DVD it was called Mad Max ;)

Very funny haha! but Im talking about the documentary DVD about Bert Munro - Isn't that what this thread was about - the footage in you tube or have I completely lost the plot? ;) Does it have the same title as the Dramatised film? second thoughts I might just as well go and google it :smt115 :rolleyes: :mrgreen:
