I'll plan for now to get the ball rolling. I'd prefer not to lead, but don't mind if I end up leading.
Given that you're coming from the South and heading up North, shall we plan the route along those lines?

Possibly starting near Chorley, and heading North from there via the back-lanes towards the lakes? Ending at Windermere?
