Whatever you do, DON'T wear it/them! if you come off with it round your waist or around your shoulder, you'll end up with a broken back. Not good.

First, duck tape the two tyres together if you are taking two tyres. Next get a rucksack and take the tyres that have been duck taped together and clip them through the top opening so the top of the tyres are inside the top of the rucksack. Then bungee the tyres around the back of the ruck sack or use the other straps on the pack to secure.

You can then wear the tyres like a back pack and if you come off they will come off and you'll not break your back. Which is good!

I use this to get my track tyres to the shop and my road tyres home then I change them over.

Cheers,
Carl

Thanks guys.

I gave them a call this morning and he said £200 fitted. :)

I still went down to get them and i must say what a great guy he is. He told me a lot of stuff about the kind of tyres there are and he told me about his background. He has work on the BSB circuit, wrote in the mags and been part of a developement and testing team, so this guy knows his stuff. :D

My tyre that i wanted to bring back with me, well i left it there and will go back in the car sometime next week to pick it up. Didnt want to take any chances riding back with it. ;)

I cant recommend this place enough.

Just want to say that the Avon Storms that i got feel great. :)

Even though they have not been run in yet, the grip from them is excellent.

Riding home was like riding a different bike, it just seemed to sick to the road.

I think i am going to have a lot of fun this year :D

Got a feeling they are same guys then. They used to help bike mags with tyre testing and all sorts of stuff and yes even as a tourist it was great service.
