without wanting to appearlike i'm poaching a sale off the OP (and what with our bikes being at opposite ends of the country i don't think i am...) if it doesn't work out for you with this newer bike my 07 bike will probably be coming up for sale in the next month or two, will post more details once i've sold another bike and i'm looking to change the SV for something else

Baz, you do realise that you can just buy a new chain.....

Dont need to replace the WHOLE bike :p

It is a nice looking bike, but if you do get it, invest in a scottoiler or as I have told you on a few occasions: PUT SOME FECKING LUBE ON THAT CHAIN!!!
