I got Royal SunAlliance, pretty cheap and decent cover. Even better with my 42% discount :-D

Just had a quote from esure for the mother in law, some 70 quid cheaper than direct line :o.

Can't offer advice based on experience... our house fell in a hole 20 years ago, so I'm stuck with Zurich as the cheapo's want even look at it

Extremely cheap.. maybe a bit too cheap? is that for both building and contents insurance? if so what amount of cover do you have on contents etc. and is that for accidental damage as well? is it new for old?

Scary to hear the bad reports about Direct Line as I am with them for both car and home! They were cheapest by miles for my house...

If you're buying online then save yourself some more cash by signing up with a cashback site as well. We got our cover this year with swiftcover and got £75 back in cash using topcashback.
