Good luck to her though, I hope they all do well  |
Re: Octuplets
She will pump breastmilk initially, and they'll be fed via ng tube. Even if she manages to do that for a week or so, they still get vital immunity from it. Tis the best start especially since they are premature.
All that aside, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes. I hope they all thrive, but having had 2 kids within 17 months of each other, I can't imagine the strain. |

Re: Octuplets
can you imagine wheeling an 8 birth pram around...lol
Its bad enough with twins and prams. I could spin my pram round on a pin :-) Mind you at least when she goes shopping and puts the bags on the back, there will be enough weight in the front to stop it from falling backwards ;-) |

Re: Octuplets
I seem to remember somewhere that on average it costs 20 grand to bring up a child in the first five years, sometimes as much as 40.

Re: Octuplets
Gah if I have kids they'll be brought up on home baking and veggies in the back garden LOL
|
Re: Octuplets
You'd bring them up in the back garden...???? lol
Still costs though. Its clothing and nappies, that eats the biggest chunk. Feeding them isn't too bad, when they are really young, its when they get to Dylans age that feeding gets costly, school dinners, faddy eaters, hungry....hungry! Eight, gawd I'd go grey, just thinking about it |
Re: Octuplets
