I had one puncture, and put a can of that stuff in. Fine, no problem. But I got the tyre changed ASAP.

I had another puncture later, used one can. Nope. Another can. Still no. Another can, for frig's sake no!! So I rode a carefully planned route to the tyre fitter stopping at everywhere I could to re-inflate the tyre.

I'd never buy one again.

Think I may have to get one! (I'll have to test their 'fits under any seat' claim)

Saying that, how do you get the bung inside the tyre in the first place? Surely you don't have to brake the bead?

That's pretty much the kit I have, with only some minor aesthetic changes.

Could be wrong but I don't believe you can get a tyre repaired after using it.

(And your tyre place'll hate you)

Just ordered a tube of sticky string - any suggestions for which inflator to get from that link on the previous page?

Worked as well as the "wack some superglue on the threads and screw it back in" method that was my only other previous attempt at avoiding deflation.

Plug slots in the metal thing. Which you push into the hole (with tyre deflated)
If you're me you swear a lot, wobble around trying to get metal pointy thing plus plug back into the hole, accidently stand on the glue tube, shed a tear and eventually manage to rip the ist plug in half. For the second attempt you go and get something with knee armour and make use of all the donuts you had for lunch by kneeling against the thing and getting your weight behind it.
