How did you get those effects next to the cargo container - is that a Special Move in Photoshop?

Looks like sepia (possibly Ilford XP2 35mm or the like) or photoshop effect and a semi-fish eye...

Am I close Sam?

LOL,

ok here is what i did,

I took some shots on my 5D mkII with my 24-70mm lens, but as i don't have a wide angle for the 5D i had to use my 400D so i used my 18-55mm lens with a fish eye extension on to it (0.14x zoom i think it is), so yes it is semi fish eye.

I took 3 shots of the same image, one at -2, 0 and +2, then merged them together as an HDR, I then used tone mapping to bring out the details in Photomatix.

I then opened up the tone mapped file in Photoshop, upped the contrast and the saturation and adjusted the curves to make it more grungy, then added a blurred black border around the image to finish :)

So this is the normal HDR image:
