Don't think I'll be telling Sandrine that part of the GMII route has been known to make folk puke.....

For us newbies please explain what or where the Wibbly Wobbly road is please. Sounds like a fun road to try out. :riding:

Re: Mrs Cambatfred meets The Dukes Pass

The wibbly Wobbly or WW is the road from Garelochhead to Arrochar, on the west side of Loch lomond. The first section, The Glen Fruin Road is also known as the military road A-B, the second section B-C is the ww, nice little cafe (pit stop cafe) at the end of it.

The military road is long smooth and sweeping bends with stunning views, the WW is a tarmac rollercoaster:reaper:, twisty undulating fear fest strewn with, small streams, about 300 large manhole covers:smt101, sheep and the ocassional frogman=;. Definately interesing (my oh's favourite pillion route):smt026

If you look west of point C you'll see the A83 "rest and be thankful" to Inverary also another road that gets plaudits on here.:thumleft:

From Inverary you can take the A819 to Stronmilchan then the A85 to Tyndrum Crianlarich, then either the 82 back down loch lomond or teh 84 to Kilmahog and throw in the Dukes for good measure. Or alternatively you can u turn at inverary and head back tr&bt, ww, mr. All depending on how much time you have.

I had my 1st, 2nd 3rd & 4th tank-slappers on my first ever run down the wibbly-wobbly. Not wee shakes of the bars, but "HOW THE H3LL DID I STAY ON" tank slappers.

Don't let that put anyone off. ;).

Ah, so that's the wibbly wobbly. I like when you give it some and you get a bit air borne and then, when the back wheel touches the tarmac (it's now spinning faster?) it throws you forward. Yee haa! Hold on tight RamJam!

lol got a bit of air last week heading from the A827 Aberfeldy to killin road. I almost needed to change my y-fronts as my backside and feet came off the bike. Just glad I was holding on tight :thumleft:

How do you stop oneself staying in the air when gravity pulls the bike back down to earth lol
