Re: suzuki DRZ400
Had a 400s- good fun off tarmac but not great fun on the road -tried changing sprockets but I felt it was a bit underpowered and they are expensive to modify to get more power, also mine was always reluctant to start if not used every day despite full engine check/service- although obviously this is unlikely to be typical, think it was just a tired battery. Maybe the E model might be more fun -uprated cams/carbs/tuning which are worth having I would imagine. If I was buying another offroad bike would go for KTM or ?CCM something with a bit more poke. I think the SM would be fairly pointless with 33bhp - you would be better with an SV if not taking it off tarmac.

Re: suzuki DRZ400
whats the differance between the "s" and the "e" ?

Re: suzuki DRZ400
I thought on the S and SM you could use either enduro or supermoto wheels.
I've seen a few on ebay like this, your best bet is to ask lone wolf he had a DRZ and has a KTM at the minute. |

the SM is the supermoto, i should google it shouldnt i |
Re: suzuki DRZ400
E is almost the same as S but has better tuned engine. Also not road legal - but easy enough to make it road legal- just needs indicators etc- so I would be looking for a road legal E.

just googled it, as you say the "s" is a tamer road legal version. so is heavier where as the "e" is the off road model........ so the "e" does not come with indys and speedo as standad then? |
