Matt, we've just bought a 650s-K5 for my wife. I dont want to disturb your Sunday so I'll be giving you a call tomorrow to order a conversion kit.

Thanks
Simon

I just finished doing one of Matts conversions, i can recommend them.
Ill go and take some pics and post.
Just been out for a 40mile blast for the first time after the conversion , the difference is amazing.
Slow speed control seems easier for some reason, might be leverage or something.
I used to get pins and needles after about 10 miles but didnt get any after 40 miles.:smt038.

If you need any help just ask, thats what i did and it helped a lot.
I could do mine again in half the time now i know what i'm doing.
Phil

Thank you Phil. That is exactly what we were looking for.

How is the clutch cable? It looks a bit tight on that curve off the lever. Is it able to be routed around the front of the fork leg or does that impede full right hand lock?

Originally, it routed around the fork leg, but now it just goes direct from the frame.
You wouldnt have enough on the cable to go around the leg.
It looks tight and thats what i thought when i first looked at it, but its fine.
With the steel bend coming from the lever, its got no chance of kinking there anyway.

Thank you for the reassurance.

I'm still getting used to the fact that things are able to be manipulated on these "new" bikes. Try that on the great big lump that I ride and it will end in tears!

Spoke to Matt this morning and a kit has been ordered. Hopefully it will be arriving for weekend fitting.
