Re: Tyres In Mids.

Just what I was looking for, picked up my second SV today and it needs new front rubber. The rear has a BT021, and I had matching BT020's on my old SV. I know there is a compound difference with the new 21's, so should I match them up on the new bike?

there is quite a difference between the 020 and the 021 which wears better, so go for an 021.

For me being Noob, was worth the £35 to watch what to do & how, I have rear stand, but not for the front, so would have to jack up etc.etc. to give them loose wheels.

Guess at my age, am happy to pay someone, only if they give good service like this, to do the dirty work.

Thanks again for the lead.

Hope it bloody stops raining 2mora so I can use up some of the new rubber!

Excellent, not far from me so good to know. You didn't get a quote for Pirelli Diablo Strada or Metzeler Roadtec Z6 by amy chance? Do you know how much he charges for fitting to loose wheels?

Didn't have a price up for loose wheels as I recall, but IMO is a top bloke, give him a ring.
Did not ask for other prices, soz, looks like he gets most stuff in to order, is only small private place as I said, had several sets BT021's on the rack, didn't notice anything else tho soz. Again, give him a call, see what he can do.:smt038
