as the guy says it needs "Only" big end shells and bearings....(:confused:is that mains then ?) probably needs the crank ground as well; sounds like he knows what he's talking about...............;)

So basically a blown crank then I'd guess, although I may be doing him an injustice, but why anyone would strip an engine just to "have a look" is beyond me, not an affordable repair IMO

You can't get undersize big end bearings unless from carillo or someone like that (but I dunno), so I don't even know if it would be repairable.

you mean over size shells, and you're right Suzuki don't sell them, however if you can find someone with the skills you can get the originals re-white metalled and machined to size, but it's a custom job and not cheap, I'd only consider it on a one off custom job to be honest and only then if nothing else would do.

Shells are termed in thickness.
