Or even "oh the back wheel span up on some gravel back there, nearly had me off it did.."
(most new jap stuff takes speedo pickup on gearbox output shaft)

I have this issue. Just have to either delete it quick if you get pulled or hope that the Police man dont know about it! :smt118

Its not time stamped nor calibrated so its not worth a hoot to the cops :)

It is the same as spoilers that activate at a certain speed, pretty obvious if you have been speeding, I believe some can be activated via manual override though.

Well mine still says 168 after a dyno run last year. I'd be willing to bet him my girlfriend that I hadn't been that fast on the bike and tell him to prove it!

Yeah nearly all of them come up at like 64mph or have the "look at me i'm a flash git" button. Again none can be used in a court of law or to proove speeding xD :grouphug:

And here was me thinking that our boys in blue wouldn't know about this on my Triumph clock, but you've just advertised it! Best zero my clock tonight then!!!

But it's been explained that they can't use it as evidence as it doesn't give a time stamp and could've been a dyno, trackday, joe bloggs who took it for a test ride...
