I more or less did what you did. I went from a Bandit to a brand new SV650sx curvy. Fell in love with her straight away. The Bandit was gutless compared to the SV and a lot more fun to ride.

I had a red one. When i traded her in after owning her for 2 yrs for my SV1000 I only lost £400.

Hope you enjoy her.

nice looking bike
just get a hacksaw/grinder to that exhaust now and get a proper can on it and you will enjoy it even more :thumright:

Yep, i completely agree. I wasn't 100% sure about doing the swap at first, as Bandit's are not a bad bike at all. But the SV is 10 times more fun.

Yeah, that's on my to do list. Its weird, when i'm sat in traffic i have to keep checking that the engine is still running its that quiet.

Sweet bike though :D.

Thanks. It'll hopefully look better once i've added a few things. Yeah it does have a tank pad already, one that says SV650 on it. Is this a stock pad that suzuki put on it or something?

The tank pad aint put on stock bikes, the tank is clean unless modded by the garage if its at PoS.

It'll be coming off this weekend! I barely go on motorways so i don't really need it anyway.
