I've heard of Zen, but not sure what they offer, I guess walkman offer something as well, bu not sure what.
And the iPhone is £550? payg Why is it so expensive when you can get a whole decent portable computer for £400 (or whatever price you like)

MS Zune is doing everything I want right now, looks smart, holds all my media and the software is less tiresome than Apple's offering...

How come you have to pay for the software upgrade?
My missus upgraded her iphone and didnt have to pay, or is that different?

It was a free update for the iPhones but the iPod touches were/are charged for it and tbh its not worth it. It doesent stop it doing everything you want it to and more if you don't get it

I paid for it as well, i got the 1st gen so dont get half ot it! still had to pay full whack tho, going to apple store soon to replace what would semm to be my 1,000,000th pair of head phones :( keep breaking, speakers are dieing, all grey rubber bits have fallen off, does get used 5 days a week so, cant complain.

That does look like a fine piece of design. Really sleek. Just looking at thier website.

I'll maybe have to consider that as a replacement, when the old Ipod packs in... hopefully in many years to come mind.

I dont really care for playing Ipod over inflated prices. I got one of these (when I bought it it was only £85!). Anyway, im always shocked everytime I use it at just how great the sound is! Does help though that the head phones that come with it alone would cost £30! Battery life is also immence.

Like it much more than my brothers Ipod I was using for a while... Ipod touches are ok (Sister got one free with her Phone) if you want to go on the net without a PC at home. But its very limited and id much rather use the PC for anything but the odd Email. Oh and battery life sucks big style! :rolleyes:

All in Ipod is over rated imo.
